Mr. Alvarez embarked on his professional journey with a solid educational foundation, earning an undergraduate BA degree in Economics from Amherst College and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU. His career began at a prestigious public accounting firm, where he honed his skills and obtained CPA certification in New York.
After gaining valuable experience in various accounting roles, Mr. Alvarez sought new challenges beyond traditional accounting and taxation. He transitioned into the dynamic world of Wall Street, focusing on Institutional Sales and Trading in the securities market. This move allowed him to develop a keen understanding of financial markets and investor relations.
Leveraging his diverse experience, Mr. Alvarez later established his own consulting practice. He specialized in assisting entrepreneurs by crafting comprehensive business plans and strategies to secure startup and early-stage funding, primarily from venture capital and other private investors.
Building on this extensive experience, he now assists small and midsize business owners in securing the capital necessary to achieve their strategic goals.
